“Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects posture, restores vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirit.” Joseph Pilates

Pilates is a whole body conditioning method designed to create strength, balance and alignment in the body. The movements are designed to tone and nourish your whole body, from muscles and fascia, to organs and tissues, to lymphatic and nervous systems.

Using specialised equipment such as the reformer, wunda chair and spine corrector, Pilates also develops coordination, concentration and flexibility. It is the ideal movement antidote to counter today’s sedentary sitting culture. Pilates helps to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, build body confidence, and to activate specific muscles that improve posture.

Blending the traditional teachings of the Pilates Method with contemporary health and fitness knowledge, we offer personalised small group and private classes. A maximum of four clients in a studio class and eight in a mat class allows us to give you the attention you need to achieve your wellbeing goals.
